About Me
Guitar player/Singer . Born and raised in Louisiana .My Onebeliever3, user name is a tribute to my childhood best friend the Late John Campbell. His first recording on Elektra records was titled OneBeliever. Play Blues, Roots Rock, Roots Country, most my life ( mostly blues now). Started Playing in the 8th grade (60's). Played in local bands in Shreveport Louisiana ( my home town) . Moved to Colo. in the 70's started playing mostly solo but still did some band work as a singer/rythm guitarist. Moved on to Oregon mid 70's. Settled down and started a family. Played Solo. Mid 80's and 90's Played in an acoustic Blues Trio. Solo from then to current. (Now I've got grand kids.) Still live in Oregon.
Been self employed Craftsman since 1975. Restore Classic Wooden Boats and Vintage automobile interiors.
Main guitar has been 1967 Guild F-30 since 1971. DeArmond sound hole pickup. Fender and Peavey amps. Numerous other guitars. Enjoy building "Frankenstein" electric guitars. Mainly Peavey swamp ash bodies.
Strat necks. Also build cigarbox guitars.
